2.0 Infrastructure
Infrastructure is: (i) the basic, underlying framework or features of a system or organisation; (ii) the fundamental facilities and systems serving a country, city, or area, as transportation and communication systems, power plants, and schools; and (iii) the military installations of a country (Dictionary.com, 2019).
Context of International Logistics
Refers to all of the elements in place (publicly or privately owned goods) to facilitate transportation, communication, and business exchanges.
It include not only transportation and communication elements, but also the existence and quality of public utilities, banking services, and retail distribution channels.
